Effective mid-night January 3, consumers in Barbados paid more for gasoline and diesel. The retail price of gasoline rose from $3.26 BDS per litre to $3.31, an increase of five (5) cents / 1.5% from the previous month. The retail price of diesel also rose from $2.52 BDS per litre to $2.66, an increase of 14 cents / 5.6% from the previous month (Source: Barbados Government Information Service).

It’s why we need more help from Government to further lower taxes. The average person can’t afford electric vehicles and of course there are other things like eg sun panels to help lower our electricity.
